Breaking the piggy bank hauls from Japan

I've been very busy lately with my new hobby (photography) and all my funds are being channeled in buying new lenses, equipment and books to enhance my little knowledge in the field of photography.

I am currently in Nagoya, Japan and I visited the camera shops here and after shopping for some stuff, i decided to visit my fave  vintage shop.  I was not really impressed lately with the stocks they have but today was different.  They pulled out a box full of vintage items and I chose the best of the lot.   There went my budget for  a Manfrotto tripod.   ouch...

Here are some pics and i hope you guys enjoy it as much as I love these finds!

Enjoy! comments and questions are very much welcome

  13. Thanks Daniel! That Celica is stunning! I would have bought more if only my wallet was brimming with yen, however I just have to be contented with these for the moment.

I am sure by next week the vintage store that sells these would have their shelves depleted again. I've seen some Japanese collectors spend more than Y100,000 (USD 1,000.00) in one go.

I ust happen to have a good relationship with the guys and they source the items I want and they keep the items they think I like.

Vintage Mercs are on top of the list and so are Galants and Lancers.

Better pictures in the coming days!
